We can say that Guitar Guru is a guitar virtual professor, which not only is available every time you need him, but also can help you to learn how to play the songs you like the most.

With this software, you’ll be able to learn to play guitar “playing” due to its totally visual teaching method, without staffs and other things that maybe you don’t want to deal with. The process is simple. It’ll show you where to put each finger and on which string to play the melody you want to learn. You just have to sit down in front of your computer with your guitar and imitate what you see on the screen. A colors and numbers code is used to indicate the position of the fingers. This code you can customize to your needs and likes.

Besides the included song list in Guitar Guru, you will be able to add your own CDs or even select .wma files from your computer with the songs you want to learn to play.
